Steve Smith Injury Update

Remember we had a hard time to even get near scoring position until Capt made that int. w/o Capt's int, I dnt know if we would've score at all as a first unit.

Believe it or n

We can't be this reliant on our superstars forever. Injuries happen to every team and we can't allow ourselves to be absolutely crippled just because a guy like smith goes down.

I accidentally pied you, but what makes you think we wont be cripple if Smitty goes down. You saw how we struggle last game w/o Smitty. W/o 89, Cam struggled to find an open receiver. People just been too optimistic this time around, bc its the preseason and you cant ever tell whats going to happen during the real games. Thats why even though we struggled last week as a first unit, people acted like they didnt notice we loss a step, just bc Cam were lucky enough to put up 6 by the help of "Capt's INT" which set us up for great scoring position.

We can be all big and bad around TB, but once we brings in ATL and NO's name into the conversation, everyone begins to hide and hesitate to speak their mind. We're the 3rd best team, so that means we can bully the last place team, right?

Until, we show that we can beat NO, we're pretty much on the same page as TB. Last time I check, TB can actually split a game with NO the last couple years. We? We been NO's bitch3s the last three years.

Im just speaking the truth. And the truth hurts for some of yall.

Absolutely not. But TB's secondary is pretty damn good also. Talib have been great covering Smitty since he's been in the league. Wright played good vs Smitty last year. Barron should be pretty good.

Just look at the schedule.

NO, ATL, Seattle, Dallas, Denver, Philly, and KC all have legit secondary.

I didn't say we wouldn't cripple, I said we can't be this reliant on him. First off I think Cam would have done a bit better on some of those plays if it werent for botched blocking assignments. Second, it wasn't like we had murphy n lafell as our 1 and 2... we were often putting in tutu and other possible cut players out there with our first unit. Third, the jets have a disgusting set of ball hawking corners. Even with smith in there we wouldn't have looked incredible.

Smitty wouldve open the defense up to where Cam would now have Lafell on a better match up vs Cromartie and the Jets wouldnt be able to stack the line which will open more running lanes for our run game. Lafell vs Revis? NO way.

You saw what happened? Revis on Lafell, Defense didnt have to worry about any receiving threat so Landry was stacked in the box making tackles left and right, something hes great at. If Smitty was playing, Landry would've been back there trying to help cover and his ass wouldve been blown away by Olsen all night. No 89 = no receiving and running game, unless the Defense step up like how they did
