ABC warning about gas price spike

They expecting up to 15 cents per gallon increase before 6pm this evening and even higher increase tomorrow depending on flooding caused by hurricane. They "expecting" refineries to be flooded.

Up to you, sheep. I already got my gas this morning.

SMH stuff like this is what causes shortages and contributes to the spikes themselves.

Still remember almost running out of gas during katrina and not being able to find any because everyone panicked and topped off their suburban. Barely got some in time, had to drive all the way to concord.

Seriously is it still a mystery why our economy has been in a downward spiral since Hurricane Katrina and the rise in gas prices?

Simply the cost of business went up..consumer pricing went up and then partnered with closings, layoffs which in turn caused a spike of forclosures thus economic implosion.

Wasnt oil speculation supposed to be given stricter oversight?
