I've never understood the rage Armanti generates... the guy hasn't panned out, he hasn't screwed around on the field, been a punk, screwed up off the field, or anything like that as far as I know, he just hasn't had what it takes on the field to contribute... if you're gonna be mad at someone, be mad for Hurney for the draft pick. I don't really blame him though, I thought it was worth a shot at the time...

Wow, a reasonable post. They do exist on the Huddle.

Yeah, I wish him well if he gets cut. He's a nice guy, and I generally have no ill will towards guys trying to carve out a career, unlike some posters.

I don't follow Zod blindly and have butted heads w/ him in the past but I challenge you to find a better outlet to get your Panthers fix.

That whole "you're an internet forum nerd" or "get out of your mom's basement" or "go get laid" is so played out. It's a crutch for people to use when they are losing an argument. It's the 21st century bro - social media runs the world.

Fake football school? Many would consider ECU a fake school in general. And don't get me started on athletics and academics at UNC.

I sure as heck hope you are not a state employee, bc u sure spend a lot of time bashing AE, and then continue to do so until someone agrees with you.

Hurney most certainly deserves some of the blame. Every time a "fug Marty" thread pops up once or twice a month, Armanti is always one of the first arguments brought up against him. It's another swing and miss from Hurney in regards to the draft. That still doesn't take away from the fact that Edwards is garbage as a panther and there is an annoying, delusional fan base of a fake football school suggesting he should take snaps away from Cam Newton.

I think you need to add a third team to your list of schools you root for. I mean, you didn't go to UNC either, so why not throw App onto your list? You clearly take time out of your life to post about AE and App at every opportunity. It's quite funny to hear how little you care for both AE and App, yet see how much you post about both.

All joking aside, one serious question: why so much hatred toward someone that you've never met and a school that has no affect on you, or are you simply trolling?

any proof of your accusations? why are you so frustrated that youre trying to attack me personally for liking Armanti Edwards? Does it really make you that mad? why?

      I’ve been holding out on this because I knew I would just be called a homer. I’m sure some will still say I am and that we shouldn’t care about the underwear Olympics without seeing the tape. That being said…. this guy is an absolute freak. 6’3 220, 43” vertical, and 4.38 unofficial 40. And I can tell you I am not surprised in the slightest by following him since he was an under recruited high schooler putting up 232 tackles, 4 sacks, and 8 forced fumbles his senior year of high school (ONE YEAR!). He developed into the leader on the defense and was always the one making clutch plays.  He is going to be the Luke Kuechly for a defense at safety for a decade. I expect some team will draft him top 15, maybe even top 10. I go back and forth on whether you use a top 10 pick on a safety but at the end of the day, I think you pick a superstar no matter what position. I would prefer us get a top pass rusher or maybe even WR but I would be thrilled to land Nick E if we don’t get one of those guys. Would much rather have him over a guy like Jaylon Walker who is super intriguing but doesn’t have the production to back it up.

      We could also draft a guy of that caliber on a much smaller contract deal.
