Armanti is probably a nice dude off the field. I'm not judging his character or as a man. If anything, most fans would take a rude asshole off the field as long the guy plays great for their teams on Sunday. See: Steve Smith, Mike Vick, Dez Bryant, Barry Bonds, etc...the list could go on for days.

I'm judging Edwards, and players like him, on the field when they put the Panthers jersey on.

And yes, I do put some of this on Hurney. AE, in a way, is a victim of circumstance. If Edwards would have been selected in the 6-7 round, we would have moved on from him long ago.

I've never understood the rage Armanti generates... the guy hasn't panned out, he hasn't screwed around on the field, been a punk, screwed up off the field, or anything like that as far as I know, he just hasn't had what it takes on the field to contribute... if you're gonna be mad at someone, be mad for Hurney for the draft pick. I don't really blame him though, I thought it was worth a shot at the time...
