You put yourself into a corner with the lie you told on your resume, so you can't offer up the truth now and not expect consequences. On the real, I know my company would release you immediately as I am sure most would. Addtionally, on your first week, you come up with an excuse to leave early......not good. Let the check go, jobs are hard to come by.

Well, I didnt lie on my resume, I did work for him, I just didnt say how little I worked for him. I was used by him as needed. I guess, I just will not worry about that last check. It is only $326, and I have been trying for almost a year to get this job. I hate laying out of work and making escuses for anything. Its not how I do things at all. I dont even call in when I am sick usually. Thats why I asked on here because I have no experience with it. It just happened at such a bad time, because I have to wait so long to get my first check at the new job. Oh well. At least I got the job.
