Anyone Have Problems With the Home Button On Their iPhone/iPod?

I learned this on another forum tonight.

Settings > General > Accessibility > Assistive Touch ON

That should create an icon on the screen that you can move around and when you press it it can act as a Home button. I use this feature on my iPhone, because my home button is dead also. Hope this helps.

My home button has been hit or miss for a while now, so this is a huge discovery for me. Just thought I'd pass it along to anyone who may be having similar issues.

I have an iPhone 4 and noticed I have to press mine a little harder than normal sometimes for it to work. But I'm getting the new iPhone that's coming out next month. Hopefully the home button issue will be resolved with the new model.

I've dropped mine so many times that the button on the top right is jammed into the phone and won't work...so annoying.
