RIP Neil Armstrong

Very Sad! I remember as a kid watching the TV as he came down the ladder.

RIP! Go with God!

Little known fact, he flubbed the line. It was supposed to be, "One small step for a man. One giant leap for mankid:"

He of course said; "One small step for man. One giant leap for Mankid!"

At a bleak time in the history of the United States, we had Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin!

He was the right man for The moment. A true hero and pioneer. He never tried to profit....amazing thing in these days.

Watched his first step. Incredible moment.

The 60's were such turbulent times. The world came together to watch that leap for mankind.

Saddened by his death.

Stephen Ambrose ('and Of Brothers' fame) met with Armstrong to write his life story. Unfrtuately, Ambrose died of Pancreatic Cancer before he had a chance to write it. He was on NPR maybe 10 years ago talking about it before his death. He said what an incredible man that Neil Armstrong was.

He could have cashed in on his fame, but never did. If this happened now with anyone else. There wold be a best selling book, a blockbuster movie, action figures, appearances on EVERY talk show! (Oprah would do a Prime-Time special.)

One thing that is over looked about Armstrong. He flew just about every jet there was. Even flew the X-15 space plane.

    • Is this the wrong place to ask?  Help me please!!   I'm taking my 12 year old to his first game.  We would like to get there early.  Are there any kid friendly tailgating areas?   Thanks in advance
    • Honestly Bryce is a conundrum right now I'm not really sure what we should do with him but I am content on him being the quarterback number one going into next season. I think we should allow him the chance to play out the season to prove that he's the quarterback he can be going into next season.  I would not waste a high draft pick on a quarterback because I'm not sure anyone in this up and coming class is as good or has the ceiling that he had with that said I wouldn't throw away the future I would bring in someone like Justin Fields to have him looking over his shoulder and give us a plan b if everything doesn't go right on a one-year deal. I think the priority right now if tepper wants to make a big splash is find a way to get Travis Hunter that would be option 1AA because he helps with both sides of the field either way whatever you need defense or offense. Make that happen and then go mostly defense the rest of the way and we're cooking.
