ESPN Insider: Top RB Combos

this article talks about how efficient carolina's rushing attack is.

your thread talked about cam, stewart, williams, and tolbert combined gaining 50k yards and 500 tds...people tried to explain to you that you couldn't just add all their stats together like a 2nd grade math problem.

carolina's backfield can rush for less yards than they did last season and still be the most effective yards per carry group in the league.

Right... Please show me where I said that.

It's about damned time that a legit source started echoing my sentiments.

Just a month ago I posted a thread saying this, and people thought I was insane. Feels good to have my homeristic views be agreed by a respected media outlet.

Who thought you were insane for saying Williams, Stewart, Tolbert is the best backfield in the NFL? That is the least homeristic thing said on this board. No team has a trio like that.

Can't remember who exactly without going back to the thread I made. Don't feel like it atm. They argued that the Texans had the best backfield though... Just stupid

Well, that was specifically a duo thread....not the backfield as a whole. In that thread no one argued that the Texans collective backfield was better. It was pointed out that people could legitimately argue the Texans 2 vs our 2....it is a what have you done for me lately league after all. Their 1 > our 1. Our 2 > their 2. Tolbert gives us the backfield as a whole debate.

You guys ripping on ESPN for stating the obvious are forgetting how often ESPN completely misses the obvious. I, for one, am shocked to see the Panthers listed in the top 10.

You talking about the The Golden Calf of Bristol Network? Where they give 23 hrs of The Golden Calf of Bristol coverage? It's actually pretty comical what they are doing and how they tell you he is so interesting and that we want to hear about the backup QB on a team whose hometown rival won the Superbowl. So many amazing things occurred last year.....and that chump dominate their headlines. Sad.

Not The Golden Calf of Bristol's fault. Kinda feel bad for the guy. They are jamming him down throats bc guys annoyance drives ratings in the world od sports just as much as good sports. People love to hate.....and ESPN is feeding off that.
