It doesn't debunk anything. Cassell in 2010 threw for 27 touchdowns to 7 interceptions. He was very good, even better than he was in New England. Not to mention New England had a ridiculously easy schedule that year. They got smashed when they played good teams sans the Colts and when they played the Colts, they struggled moving the ball.

Anybody who thinks Rodgers might be a system quarterback might be an idiot.

Maybe Flynn just had a lucky game? Matt Moore looked Manning-lite at the tail end of 2009 and look where he is now.

I would give you a LIKE because I agree with most of what you said. But seeing how quickly it looks like the Colts are bouncing back under Luck so far this preseason, I wondering either the team intentionally "suck for Luck" or the Colts never thought much of building up their back up QBs like other teams do.

But you also raise an interesting question. Is it the QBs talent that makes them irreplaceable or the over all coaching of the team that makes them look good or both?

Seriously, I thought people were done with this "System QB" argument. It is obvious he isn't - he's played in completely different systems throughout his career.

Better yet. Let me ask this question. Montana played in the same system his entire career, the West Coast. He retires, Young steps in and plays like a HOFer. So is Montana a system QB too? No, he isn't. But yet somehow it only pops up for Brady. So maybe people are just hating, likely scenario. Or maybe they do think Montana is a system QB, which means they are an idiot. Or maybe they just don't know football.

Anderson looked good because hes back in Chud's offense. He looked good there in Clevland but once they parted ways Anderson sucked. Thats why im worried about Cam once Chud leaves.

Hopefully it had to do more with the type of offense in Anderson's case rather than Chud himself. It seems like this type of Offense is what Rivera wants in Carolina, so im hopeful for Cam.

Don't listen to these people and don't worry about Cam.

Madden is not real life. The OCs just don't control the QBs with a controller. Newton was the one making those terrific throws and reads, not Chud.

I said it lends to system talk. Also when you say system that includes scheme and type of players in that scheme. Would Flynn have thrown for 480 and 6 TDS with lets say Cleveland. We dont really know but I guarantee you that most people will say no he wouldn't do that.

How about Mike Shanahan running backs? He has ran a proven system that you can only call a system with many examples showing that it is a system.

And if you watch College schemes and how they translate to the NFL, with a few exceptions, you definitly see a system at work. Systems do exist. Some player are a product of that. For Rodgers and Brady this is undoubtably not the case. But to say system players don't exist might make someone else an idiot

cassel has as many good seasons in KC as in NE.
