Deshaun Foster, HOF talent before injures.

Injuries hit him almost immediately, so I don't really understand the point of saying that. He had some good moments, but there was also some major inconsistency during his career. Plus everybody else that toted the rock during the same time period (williams, davis, goings) had better days normally. His run against the eagles was an all time great though. The super bowl dive was pretty sweet too.

He did have HOF talent. Say what you want, but when Foster was healthy, the Panthers were good. I remember when he played for UCLA and he ran for almost 300 yards against UW. His first carry was a touchdown, anyone else remember his first preseason game? Injuries ruined him, but the guy was a beast, and he was unbelievable at breaking tackles. Yes he fumbled, and got hurt, I even remember DWill in an interview the other day saying he learned from DF.

Once again, I'm not saying he is or was HOF worthy, but he did have that kind of talent, and he did show glimpses of it.

Now that we're several years removed from the DF era, we should look at him as a very valuable player in Panthers History that's all.
