I get what you're saying... But honestly he doesn't really matter right now. Don't forget that he's suspended for the first 4 weeks due to him using a banned supplement.

It certainly does matter. Right now at 3 tech we have McClain and some UDFA's. That's it. We don't know what this sickness is or what impact it has on his future. Decisions have to be made as rosters are cut down. So it impacts whether or not he is part of the plan going forward at 3 tech. If not, we will be scanning waiver wires and veteran releases.

Yep, totally agree. I wasn't thinking long term though. The injuries that were discussed were game related so I got sucked into the game to game scenario. Thinking along those lines, he also didn't mention Gettis or Hogan... Both important as well as Neblett

great news to hear across the board.

if our 1's do to the jets what they did to the dolphins we should sit them early, maybe even before the second quarter hits. give the backups reps and prevent any further minor first stringer injuries. if the guys seem to have the rust shaken off no point in keeping them out there.

Jets should not be a problem. The Jets are 0-2 in preseason ans they have look not all that good. I ain't saying the game will be easy. But it ain't going be awful hard neither..

If I was a gambling man....with as much poo as the Jets have recieved. We see a heavy dose of spread option with The Golden Calf of Bristol. That won't be a walk in the park to stop. The rest shouldn't be tough....to stop. Offense will be tested.....

Our d practice against that all the time since we run it sometimes.

I'm having a hard time believing Gettis / Hogan will contribute at all this season. I hope I'm wrong. But it appears that they have lingering issues. And it's been over a year for Gettis...and Hogan still has swelling....not good...
