anyone play the demo? Madden 12 is freezing and the announcers quit announcing so I burned the damn thing and loved every minute.. Time to adjust to a new version of the same game...

I think the passing system has made this fun again. I have to avoid bad habits that M12 created, but it's like riding a bike. I'm trying to get used to the new blocking schemes and since my LBers won't stay where I want them, it seems they have made it harder to set up overloads, or what rookies call nano's.. And the defense seems to get swallowed up by blockers muuuch easier.

Overall I hope there are some changes made to the final product but it's a more reasonable game to play whether novice or pro..

I tried playing on all madden, had 4 wide open passes dropped (3 in a row). Still hate that poo. Harder difficulty should make the CPU better, not make my players suck.

The deep seam face throw is still pretty successful..I could not run on the niners but passed decently..just a basic audible to to slant ins is pretty effective. I like how the wrs catch in stride.

I played about 5 games and won all on all pro..had one close game where I was up by 10 then got a pick 6 on a pass play with 4 seconds remaining..but it was close throughout.

Also Im having trouble getting man-zone reads... Aside that if the cbs are giving a press look its is zone...the cbs follow even in zone this season.

one major upgrade I've noticed is the receiver doesn't reach down to the ground on a deep fly while the CB intercepts the wide open pass... I like being able to finally jump for the ball and lead receivers into zones better.. I'm still trying to get acclimated to the new engine..

about to check out these zones, some nice tips on pre-snap recognition..

I can manage All-Pro fairly easily, but not quite there on All-Madden yet.. I may end up not buying this game if my players on all madden continue to stand around with their fingers up their ass as a ball hits them in the face.. Being able to switch to your receiver should happen much quicker or wtf is the point..

I never play on All-Madden bc the computer creates crazy senarios to make the game close. i had the Giants 21-0 with 4 minutes left on all madden..I won 24-23...as I fumbled on a kickoff for td, had a hb truck 4 guys and run 60 yrds for a score and Nicks then took a 10 yrd pass all of the way breaking tackles and scoring..I had to throw to Moss on a deep pass call time out and made a 55 yrd fg to win!

Fug all-madden mode!

I ran a punt return back and kickoff return in the same game.. Cant say i got a punt return for td in 12 playing someone.

I did notice the holes opened up better like '11, but the only one I returned was called back..

missed this earlier.. yeah, all-madden is full of it.. the frustration that comes with that mode makes me want to break things, especially when Cam has wide open receivers running down the sidelines and he overthrows them by 10 yards or underthrows them by 10 yards on a perfectly timed pass..

although 2013 won't allow LBs to be placed to overload sides of the OL and the OL protection scheme seems to pick up every blitzer regardless, or at least get enough of a chip to slow down any all-pro LB even if he has a clear path in front of him.. (maybe I need to lay off the turbo)

I'm curious how that will translate to the final product.. seems they have tried to do everything to take "nanos" out of the game, but now I can't set up simple overloads... if defensive coordinators can do it, I should be able to do it.

I just put the guide up if you want to learn about it..

bleys: overloads do seem out but now you would have to manually add a blitzer...Lobby tactics kill alotta innovation in the game..the 1-5-5 linebacker shake(lame move) still works but is supposed to be patched. Thats using the universal lber control and moving the linebackers left to right to left and they explode past the OL confusing them and blowing up runs.

suction blocking will always be a problem on madden.

bleys, i haven't played the demo (and most likely won't be able to) what do you mean, you can't set up your linebackers? do they run back to their default position like DEs did in M12?
