We have the most talented offense in the NFL

Starks is not average, lol. I'd take Poole over him, and probably 30 other RBs in the league. Nelson had a good season, but 1/4 good seasons isn't exactly as good as 1/1. If not for last season he wouldn't have even been included, much less graded at above average. Does anyone really think Nelson is gonna be a star or just a useful cog in a system? My vote goes toward the latter.

Just did some quick research on Starks, to see if I can back up my opinion with more than just my personal observations. His YPC is 4.3, which is exactly the league average in 2009 and 2010 (I couldn't find 2011 in my very quick research). Combine that with so few carries (more carries tend to lead to a lower YPC, obviously) and being on such a pass heavy team, defenses should have been keying in on the pass MUCH more leading to a higher than the league average YPC and that equals a below average RB in my opinion.

I would say being exactly at the league average would make him an average back but I understand your argument.

Also, I would say objectively Olsen has the potential to be above average, but his play has been average 3 of his 5 seasons.

Forgot about Grant but Starks only had 2 fumbles last season.

He had one on his first series in the preseason, dropped an easy pass right before that, and has pretty much sucked in camp this year. There's a reason that the packers just signed Cedric benson.

We didnt have a top 10 passing attack last year...

We have potential to be one, but I don't see how people can call us one yet.

Top 10 offense bc of our runners and we have a balanced attack. Cam has to get better and we need to les reliant on Smitty to be a top 10 passing O

You gotta be joking. I'd say the Pats, NO and GB are right there with us, wouldn't say our offensive stars are easily better than theirs, but putting Philly in the conversation? Laughable. I'd argue the Bears have as good a group as Philly now that they might have some guys who can catch the football. Using my own highly scientific grading process:

On Philly, Celek is average, Jackson and Maclin are barely above average at best, Vick is between above average and a star when he can stay healthy (meaning he's usually not even a factor) and McCoy is a star.

On the Pats, Lloyd and Hernandez are above average, Welker is somewhere between above average and a star in the NE system (outside of it he's average at best), and Gronk and Brady are superstars.

On NO, Ingram is average, Colston and Sproles are above average, and Brees and Graham are superstars.

On GB, Driver is a once star now average, Cobb and Jones are average, Nelson, Benson and Finley are above average, Jennings is a star and Rodgers is a superstar.

On Carolina, objectively, Tolbert and Lafell are average, Olsen is above average, Deangelo and Stewart are somewhere between above average and stars (even objective fans would agree they'd be stars in a single back system), Cam is between a star and superstar, and Smitty is a superstar.

We'd have to be right there among NE, NO and GB for most talented offensive skill players, and our O-line puts any of those teams' to shame except NO.

I agree on that we're up there with some of them but to say we're the most talented, we're simply now. Now, maybe most fun to watch bc of Cam Newton, Yes.

I only consider Lafell, Murphy and Adams as average players. Possibly Olsen also based on his performance last year.
