Favorite play last night

I loved the stuff by kuechly and McClain...because that's exactly what I wanted to see improve this game was tackling and run D

There's so many to choose from in just one qtr, but if I had to choose, I would say the 3rd & 10 to Lafell.

For one, that was a Steve Smith type route, and it was good to see Lafell get the separation he got.

Oh, and that was on Marshall.

Johnson hitting Tann in the mouth on that one play, with the top of his helmet.

And LK59 making the goal line stop and then standing over the guy, like a boss.

I cringe more on running plays than I do passing plays these days. It's weird.

i don't cringe on any of it. i have 100% faith in anything this offense does.

now i cringe when special teams and the defense is on the field...but offense? cringe free moments...and yes, that is weird. but i'm getting used to it in a hurry.

Stewart's 2 yard touchdown run.

Go back and re-watch what Mike Tolbert does to the middle linebacker. Absolutely stones the middle linebacker and blows him up allowing Stewart to hop right over into the end-zone.

I don't think we'll have to worry too much about Cam doing most of the inside the 5 running. I think Stewart and Tolbert will have that covered

the play at 1:55 in the 1st, Tolbert also jacked up a DE..

I'd also like to add the screen pass to Williams. Lafell was called for holding on the play, but what I liked about the play was the patients and poise Cam showed. The screen wasn't originally there, and Cam had to pump fake to open it up. I thought that was awesome.

Bruce Campbell had a beautiful block on this play to spring Murphy for extra yards.

The long Olsen pass was fuging beautiful, it couldn't have been thrown any better. Even though he fumbled, I loved that long rumble by Tolbert. I about died laughing watching the replay. The DB steps into the path of Tolbert and you can see Tolbert hesitate for a second, take a half step as if to juke and then go "fug That" and turn and lower his helmet into the DB. If the ball hadn't hit his shoulder just right to pop out, Tolbert would have ran over him for a score. The dude was on his ass with Tolbert still on his feet.

Just the fact that he went out of his way to deliver pain to a DB had me smiling like a little girl.

The play that they called "the first quarter" yeah, that was pretty good.

I personally enjoyed seeing Smitty getting all up in that DB's poo, causing him to lose his mind and his helmet and get the 15 yard penalty. Classic swag in full season form.

Chud's favorite play seemed to be the screen last night. Saw it way too many times in the first half. Any good defense will start Keying off it for easy pick sixes.
