A new perspective on Byron Bell

After watching Jonathon Martin struggle mightily tonight, it gave me a new appreciation for Byron Bell.

As a reminder, Martin was a mid-2nd round pick, and of course, Bell was undrafted. Let's hope he continues to improve, but his career is definitely off to a better start than what we saw out of Martin tonight.

Good job I thought from the OLine. Cam was hit once. But had time for almost every throw. And Miami has some solid DTs. So kudos to the hogs up front.

Actually he did get a penalty when he was in with the 2nd unit.

And I'm not saying he is an all-pro, just that he looked miles better than Jon Martin, a highly touted rookie. At least tonight.

Martin may end up the all-pro or he may be a total bust. In any case, it looks like we got pretty good value out of an undrafted FA.

I'm liking our entire o-line right now. Bell coming in undrafted is remarkable.

Bruce Campbell looked great as well. Needs to work on his sliding technique against outside speed rushers but he looked very good.
