Frank Alexander/Thomas Keiser > Greg Hardy

Pretty sure Alexander got his sack against the same OT that CJ got his against #71 Johnathan Martin. That's still not saying much though Martin has had a horrible game.

Martin is a pretty good OT and will be one in the future. It just happens that hes a ROOK.

But Alexander got that sack thanks to Keiser creating the pressure.

Did Hardy get anything against their offensive line?

Yes... Two offsides penalties. And I've been telling everyone how Hardy would show out this year... Smh...

I should've added the caveat, 'if he is focused.'

It's still preseason so patience is key and playing DE isn't all about sacks or pressures, but it surely helps. Between his tweets and lack of focus at times on the field, he just doesn't seem fully engaged. I'm still hoping he gets it together quickly though.

The over reaction in this thread is awesome....one game does not make you a Hof'er....

LOL talk about an overreaction, nobody said he was a HOF. Just better than a sub-par DE in Hardy.

I like Hardy and I think he's a good player. But I think he has gotten this feeling that he has arrived and already owns that RDE position. He has yet to show anything while Keiser and Alexander both consistently display a high motor throughout the game, and get to the QB.

Keep saying it's preseason or that their line was horrible, but there's no excuse for not getting to another teams QB if allowed too even if you already do have a position solidified on the team. That sure didn't slow down CJ tonight.
