Looks like a torn ACL, but we'll see.

Definitely looks like, Martin will get the start against us week 1. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing though as Martin has looked like the stronger back. With the way our D (and Tampa's, lol) has been playing though, I 'm not sure it'll matter.

i saw this on nfl network. this SUCKS for the bucks and blount. i was looking forward to seeing what they could do this year. hope he gets better.

After suffering a second-quarter left knee injury in Friday night's preseason game against the Titans, LeGarrette Blount reappeared on the Bucs' sideline walking around without ice or a brace on his leg.

Perhaps the injury is not as serious as initially believed. Blount could be seen limping along the sideline, but he'd likely be iced or braced up if the Bucs feared a debilitating knee injury. We should find out more in the coming hours and/or days. Blount played 14 snaps against the Titans, per our count, starting the game but ceding all third-down work and multiple full first-team drives to impressive rookie Doug Martin. Blount finished with 11 yards on eight carries and a dropped pass.

martin looks to be the better back anyways. it wouldn't surprise me to see blount be downgraded to a short yardage/goal line back sooner than later.

it helps us out in the division so bad news for the bucs = good news for us, but still you hate to see stuff like this. hopefully he makes a comeback.

ACL tear would resulted from the lower leg forced backwards; it looked like it went forced inwards which would affect his MCL (or as someone mentioned, groin). Also you can walk fine on a torn ACL.
