Fug it: ATL vs CIN eddition lawl

Cam's New Arm

Recommended Posts

The Falcons are going to win the South this year.

After this year, age will probably catch up with them. Gonzalez dropped off significantly last year, Turner is done, Roddy is getting up there, and I highly doubt Abraham will continue to be one of the best DEs in the league (even this year).

They're going to shred the Panthers in both games. The Bengals were able to create pressure on Ryan tonight and he still carved them up. The Panthers don't have any pass rush. Carolina is going to get poo housed by them.

It's good to know you're conceding the NFC South to the Falcon's before the season has even starter.

This kid out of ECU is impressive. I wish he was Cam's back up. I think Armanti could have been a lot like him if they brought him here to strictly play QB and not try him at positions he isn't comfortable with.

AE does not have that type of arm strength.

Fiz is stupid. Does your PFF breakdown (hit or miss site) show how bad of a tackler Samuel is?

Almost as bad as Chris Gamble.

If tackling is what you want out of your corner, then perhaps the Panthers should have pursued such luminaries as Kyle Jennings, Alan Ball, or Dimitri Patterson?

And since the Falcons will win the division why even play the year out?

You can't post well so why even try?

Because of the sisyphus like belief that this time, maybe.....it will be better.

If Asante Samuel was so good teams would have traded more than a 7th for him. Didn't he take a pay cut too to grease the wheels? I have no doubt we can beat ATL twice but a split is more likely. They have been eating up easy schedules and choking against good teams. The only question is are the Panthers now one of the good teams?

Thanks for proven my point about using PFF as the stat bible. EJ Biggers is rated higher then both and he missed more tackles then anybody last year.

You never post well. All you do is make stupid prediction and when it doesn't happen the way you say it. You stop posting for a while then come back and act like it didn't happen.

The Achilles heel of the Falcons will be their age and offensive line. The Falcons may come out the gate firing on all cylinders but as the season wears on their age will show. I'm curious to see if guys like Gonzalez, Turner, Abraham and Samuel have any fuel in the tank. The NFC South will be a shootout between 4 very good teams, by far the best division in the NFL.

The Falcons added the second best corner in football to their defense and addressed their 2nd biggest deficiency.

The Panthers biggest additions were at positions that didn't need addressing.

Additionally, the Falcons have installed an offense that has looked pretty fuging impressive, both in training camp and in the preseason. The Panthers still don't have a pass rush, still don't have a defensive line, and still only have half a secondary.

Ryan has looked better, Julio has looked unstoppable.

Also cool 6 year old meme that really hammered your post home.

LOL @ Asante Samuel being the 2nd best Corner in the league!!!

A hideous contract full of guaranteed money. The falcons restructured it in a way that lessened some future cap hit in exchange for more cash up front, but it's still prohibitive. With Nnamdi and DRC they couldn't justify it.

Additionally Philly wanted to play more to the strengths of the two instead of one. DRC and Nnamdi are more suited for man roles, so they jettisoned the zone corner.

I didn't make up these stat websites just to win e points. Samuel is a standout corner and he makes the falcons better. The panthers didn't make a corresponding move. It's really not that difficult.

In case you haven't noticed "The Burger" no longer gets the most carries on our team now, his better days are behind him and he isn't our best RB anymore. Quizz Rogers is the RB of our future and he is a beast.

Abe barely does anything thanks to our DC "Mike Nolan" we have a pass rush thats just as good if he is in or not.

Gonzo is old and got his first few catches tonight, in our scheme a TE is not that important and who needs him when you have Roddy, Julio and Harry Douglas?

Asante what can I say? Well he doesn't hit so he's still fresh and he was brought in because of the opportunity not because of neccesity.
