First game questions

I've got access to 4 ticket to the Dolphins's game tomorrow. If anyone could kind of help me out here. The tickets are for my brother, his wife, a close friend, and myself.

Issue is I'd like to take my friend's 13 year old. The tickets are in the family/employee section. Could I buy a single ticket to make the 5th person and not worry about seat numbers or would I end up with one person sitting alone somewhere else ? As in are seat numbers assigned and enforced in preseason games ?

Also where would the family/employee seating be at, can't find it on a seating chart. I will not have the tickets in hand until tomorrow. Because of this I can't even figure out a price for the extra ticket, sort of stressing here over this one.

Any help or info would be great but I also understand this is the huddle and possibly the wrong forum.

There is no "family/employee section". There are boxes. If you're in one of those, no you can't just buy a ticket and bring them up unless the box owners says you can.

So you are trying to get a 5th ticket and have everyone still be together (since the ticket would be in a different section)?

Is it lower bowl/upper bowl/club?

Staffers are pretty lax about moving over sections and what not in the preseason, just be discreet. Yeah, it is very possible someone will be asked to get up since they are in the incorrect seat, but if you don't mind sacrificing your view to sit with all 5 people you should be fine.

Oh, I didn't know they were boxes. Then yeah, you'd have a very difficult time getting everyone in.

I don't even know where the seats are atm. Guess I'll find out tomorrow about seat locations. The only thing I was told it was family/employee section. It seems that is not a "real" section so I'll just wait and see.
