2011 - we gave DeAngleo a monster deal. Our RBs then proceeded to rush the ball a franchise low number of times. Name a team in the NFL whose RBs had less rush attempts in 2011?

As a rookie Newton averaged 32 pass a attempts per game, factor in sacks they were asking him to do it roughly 34 times a game. In addition, he ran slightly over 7 times a game. So last year, over 40 times a game the ball was in the QBs hands asking him to make a play.

After the first two games last season you would get crucified here for suggesting that the team needed to run more...people just wanted to see Newton throw for 400 yards every game.
