Since Keiser has had his opportunity to be in the game, he has recorded the same amount of sacks as Hardy, who started all of last year. Keiser's motor and skill level is higher than hardy, let's use Hardy's 297 lbs. at DT next to Edwards. McClain is not ready to start on he NFL level. I would prefer a high energy, productive DE in Keiser, and 300 lbs. of muscle at DT with Hardy. It couldn't hurt for the next couple pre-season games to see how that works.

Out of the DE's we have I think Johnson would be best in the middle. I'm really high on Neblett right now (even with the 4 game suspension). When he gets back Johnson-Edwards-Neblett-Hardy should be a solid line.

In pre season, I would like to see our best options. Makes no sense to keep putting the same lame D-line out there each week. If we start this line against Miami, along with Nasty Norman across from Gamble, we may have our solution to a couple problem areas.

We do slide these guys in in some formations, it just doesnt make since to take them off the edge all of the time. I expect that we will use a combination of fronts through the whole season, and you might even see that one. Just dont expect the Depth chart to reflect it.

He isn't great like a Peppers, but I don't believe you have the brain capacity to actually see more than sacks on a stat page. He does need some work containing edges on outside run but we can do worse than Hardy. He does play inside on pass downs but far from a base DT like you are suggesting.
