No mention of Jordan Senn's Performance

13 tackles in a preseason performance. I know the season is over to some of you b/c of the first preseason game, but this is something that should get more mention.

He was TERRIBLE in coverage, something he even mentioned.

Getting a bunch of tackles doesn't mean much, Landon Johnson holds the season record for the Bengals and showed how bad he was here.

Senn needs to save it for special teams. We need somebody to step up and take control of STs. The guy is all effort and filled in nicely last year at LB, but he is needed elsewhere.

Yeah the dude sucked. He's like the lb version of Richard Marshall. Great for fantasy football, not in real games.

He didn't suck, he was very solid against the run. But as mentioned he missed a few coverages pretty badly. Hopefully he watches tape and corrects what he can. Next Friday he gets a do over.

Coverage is what separates the good/mediocre linebackers from the Pro Bowlers. Plenty of linebackers can tackle and play the run well; not many are good in coverage. Thankfully we have two of them in Beason and Kuechly.

Like others said really good against the run but terrible in pass coverage. I love the guy though and think he can be the leader of our special teams and he will accept any role you ask of him. I think in Senn we have a serviceable backup and really good special teams player.

Do you guys mean he is actually good against the run, or that he is not as bad against the run as he is against the pass? Senn sucks as a starter and shouldn't be on the field other than special teams. 13 tackles doesn't mean he was all over the field, it means the offense picked on him.
