i think the rest of the AFCS is probably happy that the texans opened up so much of their playbook that game. i know i would.

There is a full season of Wade Phillips defense with the Texans and about 20 seasons of his defense elsewhere. I don't believe defense is anywhere near as protected as offense in terms of play books.

i think this was for most of us, but the FO waited until the 4th round to take a DL.also defense do practice certain blitzes and looks in pre seaon to get an idea of what they would do in certain situations.
