Dolphins Game Focus/Expectations

I've always liked Miami and I like the way they're currently trying to build their team. I like Joe Philbon too. Not much of a rivalry, so this should be an enjoyable game and their great defense will give our offense a challenge, while their less then spectacular offense will give our defense some room to possibly look good.

I want to see hustle from our ST guys...that's what gives me the biggest scare at this point to be honest. I think that when we start employing blitz packages and opening up our playbook, our defense will look a bit better. Not to mention TD and Beason weren't playing last week, and I feel like people are forgetting to mention.

Other than Wake what other DE should we use to measure our tackles? Y'all run a 3-4 right?

We all know what to expect for Marshall so no problem there. I expect Moore to play with a fire under his ass to be honest.

We are running a 4-3 now. Look for randy Starks and Paul soliai as good big pass rushers from the inside. Opposite cam wake will be 3rd year jarred odrick. Big strong DE converted DT from penn state.

Koa misi will run around an make plays from wolb with Karlos dansby in the middle.

Damn, when did they change to a 4-3? I guess after Taylor left?

I expect our guys to play like men with strength and tanacity. Close the Big holes to the running game for the opponent and allow our running backs to get through to do what they need to do to get down the field.. Football is a contact sport, if you don't want to tackle, duh, you need a new job.

GUARD OUR QUARTERBACK!!!!!!!

Actually majority of Jason Taylors career was as 4-3 DE with Zach Thomas playing the middle linebacker position with guys like Darryl Gardener and Tim Bowens eating up blockers freeing Zach to roam and make tackles. We didnt switch to a 3-4 until Parcells took over, and we have converted back to 4-3 this year. But we will have plenty of hybrid formations.

However, it takes Cam Wake back into a more traditional hand in the dirt pass rusher, since he showed he was a libility in coverage.

1. NO ONE GETS HURT!-(sorry ...didn't mean to yell)

2. D, steps up, after the shoddy showing against Houston.

3. ST stays in their lanes, tackling improves.

4. A good drive by the starting "O", that houses the ball.

5. Lauren, although beautiful could use a cheeseburger or two.
