Jenkins was a 2nd rd pick.

Dont get your hopes so high on Fua and McClain. They are in no way, shape or form a Kris Jenkins.

Just bc Kris Jenkins did it, doesnt mean Fua and McClain can. Jenkins came out the draft being a pretty good prospect.

All the better that he should have played better than he did, earlier than he did.

The point is, that tackles don't come out of the blocks playing well. Very few do. So don't bring up Suh.

The last time I checked the majority of our DL are not rookies.

Last time I checked you said DT's not DL's... we had two rookie DT's last year that had plenty of playing time. The other DT's weren't rookies but again, they didn't know the playbook or schemes. If you follow the panthers you'd know they installed a new defensive system or scheme.

No I'm not going to bring up Suh.

Everyone knows DT is where it's the hardest for a rookie to have success his first year. But to think that Fua or McClain will become stars like Jenkins in a couple years is probably not going to happen.

If we were talking about someone like a Stephen Paea or Marvin Austin in their 2nd year, I'd be more optimistic. But we're talking bout our own Fua and McClain.

Holy crap, you guys never EVER learn. Unless we're drafting in the top 5, it'll always be the best player from our top 5 needs or so. We WON'T grab someone just because they play a certain position. Man, the draft wasn't that long ago, do you people have amnesia or something?
