Our goal line defense looks damn good this year. Keuchly seems to always know where the ball is. Pass rush seemed to improve as well.

Not sure how gassed Kuechly will get playing 4 quarters but if he can put forth that much effort for a whole game...the numbers are going to be out the roof!

Yeah, it was nice to see the 1st & 2nd string guys keep'em out of the endzone. We still don't really know how the D will look, there really wasn't much blitzing coming from our guys. Can't wait to see Beason and Kuechly on the field together.

With how bad they play defense on the rest of the field, they should have plenty of opportunities to prove themselves in the redzone.

We are going to give up yards this year thats a fact. this d HAS to create turnovers (which they did). Holding teams to fields goals in the red zone will be good enough to win games(which the first team d did). We aren't shutting anyone out this year thats for sure, but this is an improved unit for sure!!!

Bend but don't break is how the defense has to be this year.

Last year, they flat out broke most games. Teams can get in the red zone as much as they want, but as long as they're not converting those drives into TD's and we can get the occasional turn over, we're fine. Not good, but fine.
