Eli Manning, Rodgers, Stafford, Brady all had no running game last year.

The 49ers and Ravens did. It's a team game. Brady racks up ridiculous passing yardage in the regular season. In the playoffs, not so much. Should we get rid of one running back and invest in one high caliber defensive player at CB ? Maybe. However, I would rather see how we do this year before we determine that passing is all that matters.
