Arsenal signed Nacho Monreal to a long term deal. Nacha is one of the best LBs in Spain. Good signing for Arsenal.

WTF happened with Odemwingie... Dude showed in QPR facility by himself, QPR did not let him inside the gate. Wigan had no discussion with QPR. Everyone was like wtf? Odenwingie set outside the gate and cried. fuging weird...

I think I understand why I'm a Tottenham fan. It's just like being a Panthers fan:

Just on the cusp of being great

Missing a few pieces here and there to really create a dominant force in football

Coach-shuffle every so often

"Star" players that are perceived in a polar manner (Bale is either loved or hated, much like Cam)

A front office that sometimes knows exactly what it's doing, and other times looking like a bunch of bumbling bafoons

Faithful, faithful fans that are let down year after year....

I'll take this time to admit to myself and the world that it is obviously me who has the problem. I cannot shift blame onto anyone else in this. It's me... I support strange-ass, heartbreaking teams....

Is there counseling for this??

Demba Ba gets kicked in the face in the box while he tries to head in a goal. Misses wide, no penalty, and now his clearly broken and profusely bleeding nose forces him to come off as Newcastle takes a 1-0 lead minutes later. Probably has a concussion too

Hope Howard Webb took Chelsea out to eat before the game, because he just fuged them, hard

Premier League agrees new financial regulations

The Premier League says its clubs will be punished with a points deduction if they breach new spending controls.

The 20 teams will not be allowed to make a loss above £105m over the next three seasons, while from 2013-14 they must limit their player wage bills.

"If people break the £105m we will look for the top-end ultimate sanction range - a points deduction," said Premier League boss Richard Scudamore.

The rules are designed to improve the financial sustainability of clubs.

Investment in areas such as stadia and academies will be exempt.

The aim is a 'break even' model similar to the Financial Fair Play regulations introduced by Uefa for sides in European competitions. The FFP allows only a £38m (45m euros) loss - significantly less than the Premier League's new limit of £105m between 2013 and 2016.

Agreeing to cost controls marks a major change for Premier League clubs - they made cumulative losses of £361m in the 2010-11 season - and Scudamore is adamant the system will be enforced.

"As with all things in our rulebook, you will be subject to a disciplinary commission," the Premier League chief executive warned clubs.

"Normally we stay silent on sanctions as the commission has a free range but clearly if there is a material breach of that rule we will be asking the commission to consider top-end sanctions."

Scudamore confirmed there would be an "absolute prohibition" on teams reporting losses of more than £105m over the next three years, with the first sanctions possible in 2016.

Of the 20 top-flight sides, only Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool have reported losses of more than £105m over the last three years, according to the most up-to-date published accounts.

We will see if they have the balls to go through with it, but instituting a point deduction for overspending would be a massive change and big improvement over the vague FFP rules

Oh noes... What will Arabs and Russians do now? They can't hoard all the super stars... Man U is over half a billion dollar in debt... How the fug are they not on that list?

I could be wrong but I think almost all of United's debt was caused by the Glazer's takeover and not spending on players
