People will be sitting in the bowl and walking around, etc. It'll be more than a stage. Even a temp stage set up for days will destroy grass.

It doesn't need to be days. The convention is in the soon-to-be-Hornets arena. Only the one speech is at BOA. No reason it has to be any more destructive than the Brothers of the Sun tour, although the advertising will surely be just as annoying.
