It is required before the first preseason game. Which is hopeless b/c no HC in the league will make an accurate DC.. hell some team never have an accurate DC even midseason.

this should be repeated every time someone mentions the depth chart on the web site.

pay no attention to it. the coaching staff had nothing to do with it. it won't be reliable until at the earliest right before the season actually starts. anything done this early or during preseason games, but esp. this first one is always done by the PR dept.

I'm betting this is more of a...you know the rock core starters. "SOME" of these are in the starting spot to prove your worth. Mare for example. I wouldn't put too much into this.
