Rivera's Remarks: Trench Work

Recommended Posts

Those that think Armanti has already locked down a spot may want to temper their enthusiasm, no matter what RR said.

We all saw the same problem in last year's preseason games...when there was significant traffic or any kind of contact, Armanti did not make catches. We saw it, Ron saw it.

If that continues this preseason, Armanti will not be part of the 53.

which is exactly why he was referring to the preseason...

ooo stats, cant wait to extract the exact mathmatical answer that will prove that Gettis > Murphy> AE. . lest we forget. . . they didnt play in the same offense or get thrown to by the same QB's or werent in the same game situations or werent dealing with the same injuries or. . what were we talking about? oh yes, stats, i love stats.

I'll do it, I'm bored.

AE- 0 everything as WR

Gettis in 2011 37 receptions 508 yards 3 TD's

Murphy '09-'11 90 receptions 1,371 yards 6 TD's

Thank you sir.

Armanti here for 2 seasons and has a big goose egg....Jesus....spend a 3rd and traded a 2nd for 2 seasons of pure sunny side up....someone GIF it...

"Said Armanti has looked good but as they go through the season they need to see him make plays in traffic and make plays while getting hit."

Looks like AE will be aPanther this year. Now we know that Smitty, LaFell, and AE will be here for sure...

A more likely explanation is that he meant the PRE-season.
