Most fans won't give a natural receiver that much time. You expect them to give that much time for an althete to learn the position, so that he can have an impact?

difference being other recently converted QBs drafted to play WR logged at least double digit receptions at this point. Hard to put faith in something when has never even logged 1

also the 3rd year breakout for WRs is a myth. just as many WRs breakout in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th year.

how long do we wait for him to catch the ball once in a season, or, better yet, multiple times?

Following up on the other posters questions about Reggie Smith, anyone else surprised there has been almost no mention of him?

He played well when on the field for SF, but he seems to be invisible at our camp. Haven't even heard anything about him on ST.

Isn't he known more for hitting than for his coverage skills? Camp probably isn't the place for a ST ace and hitter to standout
