Can I watch Panther games without direct tv? (living in Atlanta)

It's not heavily promoted like last year, if you dig more on the site they still offer nfl sunday ticket to go at $ 199, but if you want to watch on ps3/pc/ipad etc you have to get nfl sunday ticket max at $299! I havent called yet to get the full details yet.

So I'd like to put to bed the idea that the PS3 will be offering the NFL Sunday Ticket streaming package like it did last year. I downloaded the app to get it and it said that it is "not available". Looked on Playstation Network and DirectTV's websites, nothing. I'm pretty sure they aren't offering it this year.

Otherwise, you're limited to low quality streaming, going to a bar, making a new friend with DirectTV, etc.

I've lived in Hawaii for the past decade and CA before then I get up at 7am and go to a bar for kickoff. If you can't make it to a bar by 1pm or just don't want to. Your lazy, if you find the right place and tip the bartender well it can be way cheaper than buying direct tv abd watching by yourself.

I just moved to Atlanta.. Any other ways I can get the games w/out direct tv?

As others have pointed out in the thread, there are a ton of scattered Panthers fans all across the Atlanta metro region.

If you're looking for a place to go watch the games in the northern suburbs, a few of us are going to try JEFFREY'S on GA120 in Duluth/Johns Creek area.

If that doesn't work, well - open to other suggestions.

Some of us don't live in the USA. SO really it's not all about laziness. Another things, some of us don't like bars either. Not me necessarily but I know people that don't want to watch the game in a bar.

Correction: Watch every 2012 Preseason game LIVE or on demand in high definition on your computer or tablet device

Something tells me the regular season will cost a bit more than $19.99 for 16 games.

More info:

When the regular season begins, Panthers fans in the United States can see a replay of the game as soon as it is over through Game Rewind. Two packages are available: one for only Panthers games or an entire NFL package featuring all 256 games.

Game Rewind shows every NFL game online, on-demand and in HD. Fans can choose to watch games in condensed mode, which shows every play, penalty, coach's challenge and play under review in less than 30 minutes.

In other words -- you can pay to watch the game online, but you won't be able to watch it live.
