Does Muggsy still coach United Faith? I was happy for them when he got that job. Seems to suit him well.

We used to play them twice a year since they were down the road from Latin. I bet he helps that program tremendously (assuming he is still there).

Yeah I think he is still there. He is getting ready to do a summer camp next week.

I always thought he never got the credit he deserved as a weapon on the fast break...he played really solid defense, elite at jumping the passing lanes and rarely got exposed by bigger point guards posting him up(threw the other teams offense out of rhythm).

With that said I remember an episode of NBA Today with Amhad Rashad where LJ and Mugsey were playing/coaching special needs athletes.

LJ was coaching and Mugsey was defending one of the special needs attendees who proceeds to swish a 12 foot hook shot in Mugsey's face..and typical LJ, he belts out a WHAAAaHaaAa!, leaps five feet off the air, runs into the bleachers, pulling his jersey over his face belly laughing at Mugsey.. .

Love the old Hornets! Tear...

it is phenomenal he was able to play in the NBA at that height, great picture Zod! I don't know much about photography, but I like the dark, edgy nature of the photo. Also think it's cool you choose to shoot below him, considering his height.

    • Because Young is so historically bad that it just skews too far outside the normal deviations that perspective is easily lost. That or they just don't want to believe it.  The struggles last year would have been more about the infighting and poor roster building or idiot owner's hiring practices than with Stroud. He wouldn't have been as good but he wouldn't have been ruined here and the pressure was not Carr-esk if you take out the Young created portion from his playing style.  Dude is a young guy on a team coached by a Defensive guy building a good D but not building up the O in year 2 of his HC 1st time gig. Seems familiar... Go look at his output this year and not just some crappy Thursday night implosion game, I would take that in a second and never ever look back every time without a shred of doubt while eating 4 of those games a year with a giant smile on my face.
    • There is zero reason to sit him if he is ready to go.  Putting him on a shelf and attempting to protect does him no favors.
    • Stroud us nit the first QB thus franchise has missed on. He also won't be the last.
