He hasn't returned a single punt because he hasn't played a game. Practice is going through the motion they don't hit on pr in practice and if they do it's pop Warner. If he doesn't develop as a WR or show ability then he will be cut eventually unless of course he is a phenom which we all hope but even I king homer doubt it. I am just disappointed he hasn't gotten a lot of looks at WR in camp. Maybe that does mean he is a lock and they will let the others battle it out

It's going to take some time for Adams to develop as a receiver, and we have guys further along that path. That doesn't mean he has no future as a WR, but we have to get the best guys ready for week 1 and he likely isn't going to be one of them.

Where he should be able to contribute right away is PR, and every indication is he is our guy. If he can give us another 5 yards or so per return and maybe break a big one or two, that is a great contribution for a 4th rounder.

Again, he was drafted to be a returner! If he turns out to contribute at WR its a bonus. If not oh well as long as he's good at what he was drafted for (punt returner) then he'll be on this squad.

Er, rookies pretty much have to be judged by practice.. because they're rookies and can only play in real games if they make the roster.. which is determined by Training Camp/practices.

Keuchly has never played a real game. Should he start at WLB?

I don't see Armanti making this team. Only if Clausen is cut or traded. Then have him as your #3 QB.

Murph

Gettis

Adams

Pilares

Adams and Pilares are your return guys

Smith and LaFell are you starters

Gettis and Murphy are your rotation and extra WR for 4-5 WR sets.

Its not like Adams sucked as a WR in college. He's top 5 in receiving yards in arkansas history (even though that isnt saying much lol)

I don't think he makes an impact at WR this year but he could be a dangerous weapon with screens and reverses in the future
