For some reason many people around here has had a hard on for Gettis. I believe Murphy is the better player and if healthy all season will be the most effective receiver on the roster not named Steve Smith. Wait and see.

From the interview this morning and the depth chart thus far in camp Armanti has to convince them to keep him with his preseason performance.

8.Adams(last on actual receiving depth chart, but hes our punt returner)

4.Gettis-possible surpise cut(5% chance imo)

5.Tutu-(Hurney thinks he can play all 3 positions,

6.Pilares

7.Edwards

Even if we do keep 7, I just dont see how Edwards is going to pull it off.

If they go with just 6 then I think Edwards, Tutu, Pilares, Gettis in that order could be cut.

Murphy is doing a great job and he just joined the team the day before camp. He's safe and yes our 4th round pick isnt going anywhere.

Adams hasn't returned a single punt WTF? He gets hardly no reps at WR so why assume he makes it? What if he waffles a ton of pr or looks like AE running sideline to sideline like he thinks it's college ball? I am pulling for him to beast it so we finally have a threat but until preseason starts and he shows me something when the lights come on I am not giving him a spot based on what he did in college. ****googles for good crow marinade***£

Adams was returning punts the very first day of camp. You don't draft the best punt returner in the draft and turn around and cut him. Especially on a team so horrible at it.

Means you are wrong. You said he hadn't been returning punts, but he had. He also has been playing wideout. Secondly he was drafted to be a return specialist. We will have 5 WRs in front of him, all he needs to do is return punts.

what makes you think gettis will be a surprise cut? he looked great before his injury

He hasn't returned a single punt because he hasn't played a game. Practice is going through the motion they don't hit on pr in practice and if they do it's pop Warner. If he doesn't develop as a WR or show ability then he will be cut eventually unless of course he is a phenom which we all hope but even I king homer doubt it. I am just disappointed he hasn't gotten a lot of looks at WR in camp. Maybe that does mean he is a lock and they will let the others battle it out

Bates and Smitty were Pro Bowlers and game changers.....and didn't do diddly at WR.
