Regular refs are in a labor dispute with the NFL, so the NFL went out and got replacemt refs.

Yea, that was a blatant hold, but that's no different than the first string refs. They miss blatant holding on almost every play too. Even though the announcers mentioned it, they didn't say it as if "oh my God, they missed that obvious call", they said "well, there was a hold" as if it wasn't anything new. Which it wasn't. They usually only call the holding if the Olineman pulls him from behind or causes him to fall down due to the hold, and even then only if the ref behind the line notices it.

how many 'blatant holds' and such are missed by the real refs?? We complain about it ALL the time. We have such short term memories...
