David Gettis (hamstring) hasn't been cleared to return to practice yet, but is running full speed.

Gettis, who is also coming off an August 2011 ACL tear, has missed more than a week of training camp now. He has to prove his health before we can take him seriously as a contender for the No. 3 wideout job.

Hell, maybe 1st if he can get cleared and back out there by like Tuesday.

Glad I got him on my all-panthers fantasy team...had to enter 5 drafts just to get the newton/smith picks...and adding Gettis and Murphy hopefully will bring me out of the bottom 8

That's what I like hearing, he's someone I'm really pulling for. I like what everyone else is doing but I want to see him out on the field this year. I mean can you imagin if team had Smitty, Murphy and Gettis on the field at the same time. The other teams Def would have a difficult time covering someone because all of them are fast.

No, but I dont play to win either. Its a free league with practically little to no chance of actually winning anything..and since i dont eat sleep and breathe stats, I choose to always make my teams all panthers out of dedication to the team..

Believe it or not I even had Clausen starting every game 2 years ago :)
