Kuechly in Coverage

Since Kuechly is so good in coverage, shouldn't that mean we should stick him at SLB over the TE?

I'm not a defensive guru but with motion and 2 TE sets he's not always going to be manned up on the no.1 TE. I really don't know but I think it's more complicated than simply saying "that guy is the sam and that guy is the will"

Dear lord Trucatz. Please try and at least follow the conversation before you respond out of context and look stupid.

You're probably right... Didn't read The posts leading up to the comment... It'll be alright. Lookin stupid and being stupid are two completely different things

in some cases the one naturally follows the other

not saying which cases or anything

i saw someone in here say they expected keuchly to be second in in sacks this year, but i'm not sure why you'd want to take him out of coverage. i'm sure he'll be a part of more blitzing and rushing the passer than he was in college, but i think they'll probably tend to keep him in midfield to deal with what goes on there and free up other guys to cause mayhem in the backfield. he's pretty much the ultimate security valve. he makes it safe for the others to take part in stunts.

If Davis wheels dont fall off we will have the best of both worlds. 4 LBs that are good in coverage and two LBs that can be devastating in blitzing. Thats without adding in Applewhites talents.

I was pretty vocal (or whatever the keyboard equivalent to vocal is) about an OLB that isn't meant for a 3-4 as being an awful #9 pick for a team that had so many holes on defense, but I'm absolutely ecstatic to eat crow and love hearing nothing but good things about him. Amini was the focus of many draft day chat jokes by me as well, but I'm glad he could turn into something awesome on the line.

lets just hope he doesnt turn into Dan Morgan 2.0 and lead the league in concussions

So when Huddlers are not complaining about actual injuries we complain about possible future injuries that have yet to happen.

Why Morgan 2.0? How bout "hope he is not Thomas Davis 2.0" or better yet " lets just hope he doesnt murder his stripper girlfriend on Rae Rd!". Both statements are equally "Full Retardo"

Don't forget when we face The Gronk. He scares me as much as Graham. I think Kuech is up to the challenge.

i said this i think before he was drafted, even as a rookie i like keuchly's chances against any TE in the league.

i think he's got that much talent coming into the league.
