What's taking Gettis so long?

Now I don't know if his injury was more severe than TD's, but how in the world does the guy coming off his 3rd ACL tear, many years older, and what, 2 months less time since the injury, get back on the field before Gettis?

It's just frustrating to me because I really thought he'd not only be our #2 this year, but take over for Smitty as our #1 outside WR at some point during the season to allow Smitty to move inside and wreak havoc like Welker does against nickle backs.

His size and speed combination would be absolutely killer with Cam throwing him the ball, I really see him as a faster version of Colston

He pulled a hammy so I think they just wanna make sure he doesn't get injured whatsoever.

He needs to be practicing right now though or Murphy/Tutu will take his spot.

yeah, optimism sucks.

no, homer-ism sucks, we have been so desperate for a second WR for so long, anybody that lines up opposite no.89 our fans think he is heir to the throne, when in reality, they couldn't make any other team but ours...Adams might have a chance as a slot guy, but Gettis, Pilares and Edwards shouldn't be more then practice squad players

You're right. Your "This guy sucks, that guy sucks. You're all stupid." mentality is so much less annoying.

    • I want to throw in how much easier it is for a QB to develop and improve with a good oline.  Huge credit to the front office for spending the money on our two guards.  Cade Mays also had a 2nd really good game starting at center.  Love how he has developed and hope he's the real deal. Look at what Stroud is dealing with now in Houston after injuries and problems with their oline.  Strouds accuracy has been greatly affected as it seems like he doesn't trust his protection. Canales is doing a great job developing Bryce.  I think the QB whisperer might be for real. And obviously big props to Bryce.  First round pick that looks horrible in his first year.  Different coaches and systems.  Fans and media are calling him the biggest bust in NFL history and he looked like it in the first two games this year.  Gets benched.  Young man keep his cool and just continued to work and only worry about what he can control.  I hope things continue like this and we end up with a great success story. Bryce Young kept pounding.
    • Outside of Philly (who currently is #3 in pass defense) the rest of our remaining opponents are bottom 1/3 of the League in that regard.  Let's see what Bryce can do versus bad pass Ds.
