Tucker signed a one-year deal in the off-season and was expected to add depth. Panthers have not yet made a move to replace him on roster.

I thought he had a real shot at gaining his old form here. Wonder what it was?

Per GM Marty Hurney, Tucker left camp because he reported under 230 pounds and wants to gain weight so he can compete.

I was at the opening day practice and when I first saw him I thought, damn that guy is tiny for a DE/OLB. In my mind after seeing that,I didnt see him making the cut.
