Former Panther DE Al Wallace at practice. Looks fit. Says he'd like to play. Then he sees Jordan Gross and Bryon Bell. Says, maybe not.

I attended Monday's practice, here are a few observations:

• Bruce Campbell did a nice job against Hardy.
  
• Frank Alexander has been to the Everette Brown school of pass rushing, he's attempting to bull rush and is getting swallowed up.
  
• Kuechly clearly has a nose for the ball, was in the backfield after correctly diagnosing more than one run-option play.
  
• Steve Smith DNP (looks fine, suspect they gave him the day off).
  
• Jared Green made a nice one-handed catch over the middle, he also got WIDE open deep and made a catch on a bomb from Cam for a TD.
  

I'll post more as I think of them.

I heard similar things about Campbell, I hope he makes it tough for Bell to earn that starting role.

I was afraid of Alexander trying those college moves, This is why I think he will be used in more 3/4 OLB packages.

Jared Green is starting to sound like the 'Taye Biddle' of this years camp lol.

Louis Murphy looked really solid yesterday too. When they gave him the ball on the end around, they blew the play dead at the sideline. He kept running and hit that next gear. Pretty damn fast.

yeah he ran several of those in oakland and the dude does have a 2nd gear. as far as JG i think they will try to stash him on the PS.

Catman, what did you think of Beason? Does he look like the Beason of old as far as you can tell? Any noticeable lack of explosion/quickness?
