My daughter has an athletic training degree and is finishing up her PHD in physical therapy. She said that he could come back from this injury but realistically three repairs seems to be the outer limit. it has to do with how many times you can repair the same site area without building up so much scar tissue that any new repairs won't take. Still if the repair is sound and he has rehabbed sufficiently it could hold especially with the help of a brace. So unless you are an orthopedic surgeon I would believe her over you. Just saying...............

Here's a fact for you. TD is currently healthy, and practicing as if he is going to be playing on the team.

But I bow to your medical degree, it's probably a lot fancier than the ones held by NFL trainers and doctors who have cleared TD to participate and move forward with the purpose of playing in the NFL again.

Sure, it's theoretically possible but the fact that it has been re-injured twice would seem to trump whatever theory is involved here.

Its also why its important for him to start slow. No way in hell there is not scar tissue in there and its going to flame up and be stiff. I had my knee surgery 5 years ago and it still flames up when I really load it.
