Why not Clausen to San Diego?

Three words why it will no work, because he sucks.

I was going to respond to Chef's dumb question by replying "he sucks", but thought better of it.

Even after all this, I think that Clausen may still have some value. The kid was not ready to come in and deal with what he had to deal with. It was like he was dropped smack-dab in the middle of the perfect storm, and the confidence was sucked right out of him. Perhaps fresh scenery would do him wonders.

Just like many of you may believe that the whole idea of a San Diego trade is wishful thinking (notwithstanding the Rivera connection), it may epitomize wishful thinking to think that Pickles will do enough during this pre-season to attract any team. In fact, there could be the opposite effect for obvious reasons. I think that it's much less of a stretch to figure out a trade, even though a trade may still be a stretch.

But, worse come to worse, Pickles will still be our third string guy.

I didn't think Jimmy was all that good of a QB in college and was hyped before the draft. If he is to ever work in the NFL he will need a long time sitting and a coach that can manipulate the scheme for him. Wish there was still a NFL Europe because it would be the best thing for someone like Clauson.
