Its a positive move all the way around...attitude, confidence and gets all the new guys attention...

It just says..no room for "lets see what happens " but be ready to play from week one and play hard every snap...Panthers and Rivera have bigger goals than just making the playoffs.

If it falls short(which it probally will) it still sets the tone of the locker room and urgency of the season. A unified goal and belief in success. Thats leadership! Cheers Kalil....and that is why he is a cornerstone piece.

Hell it's been the #1 topic on reddit/r/nfl for most of the day. Most of the responders have been saying "I don't think it'll happen but I like the confidence" and honestly that's much better of a reaction than I ever thought it would have.

Impressed by this because kalil paid money to give this message directly to the fans. Also, this was well thought out. Not impulsive. does not seem like the usual player bragging to the press to get attention.

Got to believe this team is serious. Coincidence that the Panthers just sent the same message with the Otah trade.

Whether it comes true or not, this is exactly what I want to see from our players. If they don't believe in themselves, how do they expect anyone else to believe in them? I say good for Kalil, and even better for the Panthers as a whole. I love that the front office and coach are behind this 150%, and especially RR's comments about expecting 52 other players to feel this way too, or we'll find 52 other guys who do. Pure awesome...

I agree with LadyPanther! He didn't just say this in the media. One of the quietest All Pro's in the country paid to take out a full page ad in the local newspaper. I love it! Go Panthers! Way to go Kalil.

Its also important to note Kalil did not say we would go undefeated, which could be taken as a sign of disrespect to all future opponents. We could make the playoffs as an 9-7 team like the Giants last year and win the Superbowl.
