Ryan Kalil: We Will Win SB XLVII

When i say "NO ONE" I obviously dont mean panther fans, it was more meant towards the media, and bandwagon fans. Not to mention its not coming from a marquee player such as a michael vick dream team comment. Not saying that Kalil isn't a great player but he doesn't get the attention Vick does for obvious reasons. Thanks for making it known you are a panthers fan as if thats not obvious since you are on a panther forum?

I dont think your casual Panther fans will remember. After a couple of wins and espn slobbin all over our balls, I probably wont either.

How could you hate this?

This is exactly what we want from the team. Between this and every man on the roster coming to the voluntary workout it shows we're being represented by the hungriest team in the NFL. As a Charlotte resident who's had to endure the Panthers being terrible, a heart-wrenching loss in the Super Bowl, and the embarassment that is the Bobcats, this is the downright inspiring.

Maybe the rest of the country will forget by the end of the week but I think that's what beautiful about it. If it was Cam making a bold statement than the talking heads would scrutinize over it for months. It was the hometown hero talking directly to us, telling the fans that they're giving it their all for us. I haven't been this excited since the 2004 playoffs and this is what sports are all about to me. Is it bold, yeah. But if you don't think this team is capable with all cylinders firing then you're a cynic, not a realist.

Buying my Elite jersey right freaking now. We hear you Kalil, let's do it.

No, No. Don't take that the wrong way. I didn't mean "how dare you say no one will remeber it", I agree with you......"no one" as in the rest of the world will forget it in no time.

But all of us will remeber it, including me and you.

Video/Audio of Cowherd talking about the Guarantee.

I LOATHE Cowherd, but he's actually got this right to a degree. It's very positive and will make sense of why we can win the NFC. As much as I hate to admit it...He's finally right about something

    • Karlaftis and Danna have been pretty inconsistent so teams have been doubling Jones and able to contain their pass rush.   But the good thing is that yesterday, we schemed well against Steve Spags Defense, Canales married the surrounding personnel with his QB through play designs within his comfort zone and was able to get downfield at will.  He was able to execute higher difficulty throws and look a lot more comfortable.  It tells me that Canales has a good system in mind, and had an edge gameplanning wise against Spagnuolo - which is nice to see.  It's a bit to see-saw at times with either going way too pass heavy or way too run heavy, but I think he's finding out what works.  It takes time to have it come together, and sure, I could see regression happen against a better front-7, but this was good for the entire system gelling.
    • This was evident first two weeks of season. I don’t see any issues with physical tools since he came back. I think he is a player that must play with confidence to overcome those size limitations and he’s doing that.
    • Still 3-10 on passes over 15 yards.  At least he's not scared to merely attempt them anymore.  Where I see improvement is the 10-15 yard range.  He was 6-6.  Bryce of old was scatter shot on anything beyond 10 yards and the further out, the worse the accuracy.
