Difference between someone believing they are capable of winning the Super Bowl and then flat out guaranteeing it to the public.

It's dumb to do. I don't have an issue with them being confident. But I hate when players come out and flat out guarantee it for no reason - keep it behind doors. This is no different than that Saints* player saying he is going to be in the Hall of Fame. Keep it to yourself.

I am also not a big fan of players coming out publically and "guaranteeing" SB wins. Not really smart.

However, I am happy to hear his comments about how different things are with the Panthers now. Winning is as much a mental as it is physical. I do believe that Rivera is establishing a culture of accountability and preparation the likes that we have not seen before. The days of "It is what it is" is now COMPLETELY DEAD.

Do the Panthers have the talent on both sides of the ball to win the SB? Absolutely.

If they stay healthy, hungry, and focused is should be a fun season to say the least.
