Ryan Kalil: We Will Win SB XLVII

I really think we can if we can stay healthy for the whole season. If we can, defense will be better bc of Beason and Edwards being back. Addition of Kuechly, the three of then will make things easier for the secondary and Charles Johnson can rack up at least 12 sacks.

Offense will be offense. With Cam, Smitty and three legit backs behind a very good OLINE, well be a beast again. Chud is too much of a genius. I have more confident now in the wrs core after adding Murphy. Lafell, Gettis and Murphy are solids contributors.

ST will be better with Nortman and Adams returning punts. Bye AE. Only problem is Mare.

I would not be surprise if we go all the way. I really feel like we're going to be invincible this season.

Like I said , everyone needs to stay healthy. Especially Beason and Edwards.

    • Karlaftis and Danna have been pretty inconsistent so teams have been doubling Jones and able to contain their pass rush.   But the good thing is that yesterday, we schemed well against Steve Spags Defense, Canales married the surrounding personnel with his QB through play designs within his comfort zone and was able to get downfield at will.  He was able to execute higher difficulty throws and look a lot more comfortable.  It tells me that Canales has a good system in mind, and had an edge gameplanning wise against Spagnuolo - which is nice to see.  It's a bit to see-saw at times with either going way too pass heavy or way too run heavy, but I think he's finding out what works.  It takes time to have it come together, and sure, I could see regression happen against a better front-7, but this was good for the entire system gelling.
    • This was evident first two weeks of season. I don’t see any issues with physical tools since he came back. I think he is a player that must play with confidence to overcome those size limitations and he’s doing that.
    • Still 3-10 on passes over 15 yards.  At least he's not scared to merely attempt them anymore.  Where I see improvement is the 10-15 yard range.  He was 6-6.  Bryce of old was scatter shot on anything beyond 10 yards and the further out, the worse the accuracy.
