I'm not entertaining you anymore. You have called me several derogatory names to this point, and I haven't called you one. This is me taking the high road. Definitely the rd less traveled around these parts.

I'm also disappointed that this guy is getting away with blatant disrespect for no reason when I haven't attacked him even once.

TCF, no hate from me. I hope more FFL fans think the same way so I can pick up Foster late in round one / early round 2.

The ranking that most concerns me is our secondary at 28/30 and nobody seems to have a problem with that. Every team in the conference is focused on improving their passing game and we are ok with going into the season on the low side of average.

We are going to rely on our offense quite a bit.

We are going to rely on our offense quite a bit.

That ranking was based on last year and the idea that we didn't upgrade and I think we did. We have a new secondary coach who had a good secondary in San Diego in 2011, we have 3 guys who will factor into the mix at number 2 corner in Butler, Hogan and Norman if Munnerlyn moves to the slot, and we should be able to generate much better pressure this year. I also hope we go to more man press coverage this year. Hopefully it all adds up to a better secondary.

While none of our stats were great, we were 32th in defending TEs and 27th defending running backs which should be better with Beason and Kuechly in there. The poor run defense and safeties and corners biting so often on play action because they had to focus on the run should be significantly better if we can be more stout in the front 7.

I have no problem with the #2 running back ranking, I do feel that we got a little low balled in other areas.

The Bills, Cowboys, and Chargers were ranked a head of the Panthers in the training camp rankings and I feel as if the Panthers should be ranked higher than at least one of them and possibly all three.

Our wide receiver ranking was also pretty low for having a top five wide out in the NFL.

Our tight end ranking was also questionable, there are at least five teams a head of us that could easily be behind us.

The cornerback ranking was slightly lower than I thought it would be, I don't see Minnesota, Washington, or San Diego having better corners than us.

The defensive line ranking was pretty solid, I might have bumped us over a few teams.

The running back, linebacker, offensive line, and safety rankings look spot on to me though.

Granted pass rush hasn't been great but Gamble didn't use that as an excuse and half the time most guys shot themselves in the foot in the secondary

I hate Gamble with the passion of a 1000 burning hot suns. But the guy just goes out and plays at a high level, is largely unnoticed, and does not tweet or complain. He is a pro's pro, and it is killing me. Once we start winning again, Gamble will get his due.

I would glady take Gamble 2.0 if Norman can walk what he talks. This kid intrigues me.

As an aside. Martin had a very good rookie year, only to backslide last year. This is the guy I am most looking forward to watching at camp. The wife just gave me permission to go whenever I can. Zod I got lucky. She is not only, (Happily, mostly) the butt of my jokes, but she is smart enough to know when to throw an old dog a bone.

Two more days. And GOOOOOO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
