Guy was a beast when I. The field. Unfortunately he has chronic knee issues and we need to move on. Can't wait around every season hoping he gets better. They basically gave him two full seasons to rehab and he is still having pain and swelling.

What could have been with this guy.

I'm sure you were making this noise when Otah was mauling dudes in 08 and creating holes for D-Will/Stew.

I'll be honest here and say I wanted to see Otah have one more shot and be healthy and prove what he's worth.

This trade obviously shows that the FO doesn't think this will happen and Rivera did indeed not like him.

In regards to the excuse of "inability to foresee chronic issues," it was Otah's lack of effort to try and rehab and get better. This should have happened last year. Hurney gets thrown in the dog house for the lack of character judgement, trading up for this guy, and holding on to him for too long.
